Dr La Rosa is a general paediatrician, endocrine physician and medical nutritionist. Dr La Rosa practice focuses on an integrated approach combining conventional healthcare with Functional Medicine and Nutrition and evaluation of diet, lifestyle, emotional health and environmental factors as possible precipitators of different chronic conditions.

Dr La Rosa is a Consultant Paediatrician working in the area of paediatric and adult endocrinology at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and in the private sector. Dr La Rosa is in the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
Dr La Rosa graduated from the University of Catania in Italy, completed specialist training in general paediatrics and sub-specialised in paediatric endocrinology focusing on Transitional care and Endocrine care of the young adult with most of her core training based in a tertiary paediatric and adult endocrine practice at UCLH.
For the last 13 years Dr La Rosa has been working for the department of Adult Endocrinology at UCLH developing a strong interest in the long term care of patients with different chronic endocrine disorders. Aiming to find an integrated approach to improve patients health and quality of life, Dr La Rosa complemented her training with further education in Nutrition (PGCert Nutrition and Public Health, UCL) and has been trained and is a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
